Heather graduated from the BSO in 2001 with an Honours degree in Osteopathy. Since then she has worked at various clinics in the Midlands and South West and at a busy Doctors surgery in Gibraltar. Heather is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association (OSCA) and the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and continues to further her education.
As an Osteopath she found both she and her colleagues were encouraging patients to go to Pilates as they could see the benefits. Heather went on to train in Pilates in 2008 in order to give prescriptive exercises to patients. This has led into teaching classes locally at venues in Cheltenham and Gloucester. She is trained to REPS Level 3 Pilates. She feels that exercise is a very important adjunct to manual therapy.
